will be nothing short of awesome.

Here’s (a few of the many reasons) why.

    1) We read through over 100,000 SEAchange stories submitted by youths on pledging for change (in their personal life, in their country and the campaigns they’d support) – and believe me when I say it’s impressive, it really is impressive. Inspiring. Astounding. 16 year olds saying things like “I want to improve my personal English skills, so that I can teach the kids in my neighborhood, and so that they’ll get better jobs when they grow up.’  Can’t wait to meet these people.

    2) People in the Youth Asia team have worked about 48 hours straight (without going home to sleep). Seeing the amount of dedication & strength sown into this just makes me even more sure that the returns are going to be satisfying by leaps and bounds.. at the very least.

    3) Probably one of the biggest pull factor to YES2009 is the lineup of speakers. Take a look at who’s taking the stage.. and our minds.

    4) We’re staying in the hotel where 500 selected youth leaders & delegates will be staying.

    5) It’s the Youth Engagement Summit. I’m sorry if I’m over pimping it, but to me, it is the event of the year – whether or not you like it.
